Meet the 2015 - 2016 Officers
The Purdue SWE Officers oversee the directors and provide the internal work to make SWE what it is today. These hard working individuals put in a lot of time and effort on top of their school schedules to lead and improve this organization every day.
Meredith Shannon
President
Meredith is a senior in Industrial Engineering from Houston, TX. She is very excited hold her position this year and hopes to bridge the gap between collegiate and national SWE. This past summer, Meredith was an intern for Hormel.
Holly Avins
Vice President
Holly is a senior in Materials Engineering from Wagener, SC. Over the last semester, Holly was a study abroad student based in London, but traveled throughout Europe during her time there. Her internship experience includes working for Rolls-Royce.
Catie Cowden
Treasurer
Catie is a senior in Computer Engineering from Houston, TX. Although away this past semester studying abroad in Spain, Catie was a great influence on PSWE through her co-director and through the PSWE blog. She has interned with ExxonMobil and Dresser-Rand.
Kitara Crain
Secretary
Kitara is a senior in Electrical Engineering from Folsom, CA. She is a traveler, having roadtripped across the U.S. seven times, as well as abroad to China, France, and many other countries. This past summer, Kitara was an intern at Intel. She is looking forward to presenting the Team Tech project at the Annual Conference this October!
